FOLLOW ME FAR (Bertie)
Yearling dark bay colt. Definitely potential stallion.
Graded premium as a foal by Oldenburg society. Pink papered and branded Oldenburg.
A fabulous yearling with a real look at me attitude, flashy with his four white socks and white star and snip. He has a friendly, amenable temperament and off the floor powerful paces. He pushes and carries well with his hind-leg and has good freedom in the shoulder and moves straight. He is an elegant type very uphill with long legs a very beautiful head and large kind eye. He should mature around 16.1hh-16.2hh.
Bertie has always had his feet trimmed and wormed regularly, for the first three months he was stabled at night and out all day and since then he has been turned out in a 9 acre field with 3 others so has plenty of room to move and develop.
He can be castrated prior to sale if required.
Bertie is by Follow Me OLD a young up and coming stallion at Lodbergen stud in Germany. Follow Me has an impressive pedigree being by Furstenball with Donnerhall on his mother line. Both sides of his pedigree have produced state premium mares and graded stallions.
Follow Me was Champion of his stallion licensing and has been awarded the OLD prefix for select stallions. Follow Me himself sired Finest Selection (in his first crop of foals) who is now a graded stallion and also won the German Breeding championships for three year old stallions. Finest Selection is out of a mare by Lauries Crusader who is also Bertie’s maternal grand sire so obviously a good mix of bloodlines.
Bertie’s dam is Little Lady who I have owned for 12 years and has produced 9 foals many of whom can still be seen with me. They all have beautiful heads and fabulous temperaments; several have been sold as very talented but easy amateur horses because of their sensible attitude and pleasing nature.
Little Lady was graded Gold medal mare in Westfalen Head Studbook at 3 years old, also graded into Select Studbook BWBS and Oldenburg studbook. She is by Laurentianer a son of the famous Thoroughbred stallion Lauries Crusader. Lauries Crusader has been one of the most influential Thoroughbred stallions for German warmblood breeding producing 264 state premium mares and 55 licensed sons. In 2006 Lauries Crusader was awarded stallion of the year by the Hanoverian society, the first time a non–Hanoverian stallion had been awarded this prize. Little Lady also has the famous sire Grande who is ranked in the German Eternal Top 10 sire list. He produces both jumping and dressage horses of the best quality. She has other jumping bloodlines on her mother’s side including Argentan which have resulted in her off spring all having very good canters.
AMATEURS DREAM HORSE WITH LOTS OF TALENT £15,000 SOLD
Very beautiful dark bay mare 5years 16.1hh
Home-bred by Flammengold (Florestan) out of Little Lady (Laurentianer)
Florrie has a fabulous temperament is a really sweet mare, very lovable and super easy to handle. She is easy to ride, good off the leg and light in the hand, she is very well behaved. She has a super trainable temperament is very willing to please and always tries hard.
She has 3 good correct paces with an active hindleg well underneath her so she will easily progress up the levels. She is very comfortable to sit on.
She was backed at 4 and has been carefully and properly produced since. She has been out to two affiliated competitions, the first time on her own where she loaded well and stood quietly on the lorry. She was super in the warm up and did a very good test. The second time she went to a busy venue and was very relaxed and easy in a busy warm up and won both affiliated prelims, the second one with 74.17%
She hacks out with other horses and also on her own
She will make someone a really super horse.

WESTPHALIAN BROODMARE FOR BREEDING LOAN Home now found
Swingtime Lady Chestnut mare 23/04/2010 16.2hh
By Showmaker (Show Star) out of a Laurentianer (Lauries Crusader) mare
Full pedigree here
Daisy was bred by myself and was backed at 4 and competed lightly. However a foot injury resulted in the end of her competitive career, this isn’t anything that means she shouldn’t be used as a broodmare (full details on request).
She has a lovely temperament is easy to handle and has good conformation, straight limbs and 3 expressive paces.
She will only go to an experience home, a sad decision but I have to cut back on numbers.
LOVELY COLOURED PROVEN BROODMARE Home now found
16hh, 11 years.
Following an injury Lily bred a stunning coloured filly by Heaven in 2016.
Lily is by a Cruise Missile son out of a Dutch bred mare that competed up to Advanced level dressage.
Full pedigree here
She has three good, straight paces a fabulous temperament and was an amazing mum to her first foal. She has good conformation and is ideal to breed a good sports horse. Lily took first time when put in foal with semen of only 25% motility. She is sound but unlikely to return to ridden work.
She will make someone a lovely mare to breed a super competition prospect, I had several offers for last year’s foal but I want to keep her.
Her foal of 2016 by Heaven (Hotline) is stunning with a sweet nature, very good conformation, uphill with straight limbs and good feet. She has very good, off the floor elastic, swinging paces.
Lily was bred myself so this is a hard decision but due to getting older I have decided I must stop breeding now. She will only go to a good home. Open to sensible offers.
SMART DRESSAGE OR EVENT YOUNG HORSE £8500
Classic Cadbury is a 16hh 5 years dark bay gelding.
Registered pink papered, branded Hanoverian by Classic Juan out of a Thoroughbred mare.
Cadbury has three good, correct, straight paces with an engaged hindleg and a very uphill balanced canter. He is forward going and works into a light contact. He shows a big scopey jump with good technique, he’s been lunged over jumps but due to no longer having a jump rider he hasn’t jumped under saddle.
Good conformation, clean straight limbs and very good feet.
He has been owned since a yearling and was backed a year ago at 4. Since then he’s been brought on slowly and quietly mainly by my groom. He is a super young horse with a fabulous temperament, easy to handle, produced properly with time and now ready to go out and compete. He has been out to a couple of competitions to ride in the warm up whilst I was competing other horses and was well behaved (video of this available). Loads and travels easily.
Vaccinated, regularly wormed and teeth done.
His sire, Classic Juan is a licensed Hanoverian stallion who competed successfully at affiliated dressage, show jumping and eventing. He has Calypso, Cor De La Bryere (famous show jumping stallions) as well as Don Juan sire of Genesis (International Show jumper) and Don Johnson (top dressage stallion) in his pedigree. His dam is full Thoroughbred graded into the Hanoverian studbook with Saddlers Wells as her grandsire.
A good prospect for someone to take on an unspoilt properly produced unrushed young horse, with ability and breeding to excel in any discipline.
